Once again, my plans on updating (bi)weekly has come and gone. Oh, well. I still have yet to get any of the wedding pics, so that will have to wait.
Here is a random piece of music. Play it and read the post for some extra entertainment?
So, we went hiking the other day. The place was called Horsetail Falls--basically next to Lake Tahoe along Highway 50. It took a few hours to get up and down the mountain, but the hike itself was only around 3 miles. It wasn't too stressful physically, but little did we know, it was quite dangerous. Only the beginning had some sort of trail, after about midway up, you make your own trail. We had to scale the rocks and shimmy around ledges along the way. At one point, we had to literally climb up through a small passage next to the waterfall. One slip and down the cliff we drop into the waterfall. I dunno how high it was, but i can guesstimate at least 150 feet. "Some rope would have been nice."
The name of the area sounds dangerous already O_O
I dunno why, but I like this shot a lot.
I WAS HERE graffiti near the beginning.
A zoom shot of a part of Horsetail Falls. And yes, we climbed up that thing.
Another sample of what we had to climb up and down.
There was actually snow closer to the top.
"I SO PROUD OF YOU DARLING! YOU MADE ITTTTTT."
Near the start/top of the waterfall. I jumped in and swam a little bit too, then promptly died (in my imagination).
Chillin for a bit. I like Koy's buddha stance.
Some dude trying to act cool while the wind blows his hat off his head. What a douche. This is past the waterfall--Avalanche Lake.
So ya, pretty cool day. We also watched the Avengers. Pretty cool movie. 9.5/10 rating from me!
If you watched the movie, scroll down for my favorite part of the movie.

IF YOU DID NOT WATCH THE AVENGERS, THERE MAY BE SPOILERS AHEAD!
The big event since my last update? Chan and Eric got married! It was a crazy night indeed. I'll just list some things off the top of my head.
- how much alcohol was involved? the leftovers filled up an entire TRUCKBED... THE LEFTOVERS! - someone passed out in the front door--so, logically, he was rolled up in a tablecloth and put on the side - Chan dances for the first time with Eric?! - 2 sets of car keys were lost - i was the only groomsman sober enough to drive everyone home - Jackie Chan crashed the wedding and almost got maced in the face for it - koy and i were sent to the dollar store for an emergency purchase of paper envelopes... in our tux+gown
I'll post up some pictures next week when I sort through them this weekend.
Here is a pic of the day to hold you off until then:
We finally moved in Koy's stuff. Some of it at least.
The Ikea wardrobe thingy was bigger than expected. At least it will store lots of clothing O_O It didn't take too long to assemble, maybe 3 hours at most with only Koy and I working on it for the most part. This is the exact model: Botne Pics below
And in the spirit of Diablo 3 (May 15, 2012 release date):
Prayers go to my grandma--a medical miracle always helps too.
Koy finally got the new job she wanted! She'll be working for some company dealing with prenatal testing.
She also got a new car. We were looking to get a Honda Fit Sport at first, but the Hyundai Elantra was too good to pass up for only a few hundred bucks more. Buying new cars is such a hassle with all that haggling. We still got the car at a good price--$100 lower than Edmund's True Market Value price with a 1.89 APR%. Pics below.
Time to clean up some stuff... Koy is moving in.
Keeping it short this time, and hoping to make more frequent updates.
Enjoy the pics!

What significant events have gone by since I last updated? Feel free to bash me over the head with add-ons. I tend to forget things rather easily.
The New York (football) Giants beat the Patriots in the Superbowl. Thank you Eli Manning for stopping all the comparisons of Tom Brady to Joe Montana.
Got tickets to see Celine Dion in Vegas. Holy shit they're expensive though. I really don't want to drive 10 hours to get there though.
Jeremy Lin has exploded onto the NBA scene. How do I know he's popular? My parents are suddenly basketball experts of course.
Planning to buy the 2012 Hyundai Elantra. Getting loans and haggling/finding cars is so tedious and annoying. My feelings about slimy car salesmen got even slimier.
Eric has returned from Afghanistan! Thank goodness he came back safe and sound.
I finally got a day off from work on a holiday. WOOO!
My 2-year 24 Hour Fitness membership is being wasted. I haven't gone in 3 months. Someone give me some inspiration please. I believe these minor aches and pains on my legs/back can be relieved with some good ol' fashioned exercise. Actually, I'll do that after I finish this update. Maybe.
Whitney Houston died. oh nose.
To keep up with "pics of the day," here are a few that have intrigued me in the past few weeks. Enjoy!

And to promote one of the best movies of all time:
Yes, that is the full movie on Youtube. It's been up since December, so watch it while you can!
